Before you jump into Export Business, I would rather tell you to make a clear view about what plans you have in Export business.
Please keep the following in mind when kick starting the Export Business:
1. Choose a product which is to be exported; mind you all the products which are Traded in India are not exported. (This can be achieved by viewing the customs data)
2. After you choose a product, make sure you do a in-depth market research about the demand of your chosen product.
3. Export business isn't a business of sitting in home country and doing the business, you have to mingle with other countries, build network and trade your goods (Hard work really pays, but its delayed)
4. You should frame rules and regulations for your company and stick to it strictly. It shouldn't be influential.(Except some situations but not all the time)
5. When you think of Consistent Business, forget about the agents.
6. Start with Small Transactions and build your business, don't try for big shot transactions in the beginning which will not help you learn the business, rather it will spoil your business and you will be demotivated.
7. Export Business doesn't provide any loans for the startups, it means you have to do the business from your pocket initially and later take banks' support you need based on your business transactions you have made.
Please keep the above points in MIND before you start Export Business.
